Marla Aronson Scherker was born and raised in Florida. She graduated high school as Valedictorian, and then attended the University of Florida. There she received her Bachelor of Arts degree with high honors, with a major in Sociology and a minor in Business. Marla then completed a dual enrollment graduate study program, receiving her Master’s Degree in Sociology and her Juris Doctorate with honors.
After law school, Marla became an associate at the law firm of Bohannon, Rogers & Fox in Fort Lauderdale focusing on personal injury cases. Three years later she was made a partner. In 2008, Marla moved to the Tampa area, and began working at McFarland, Gould, Lyons, Sullivan & Hogan, P.A. handling personal injury, family law, and general civil litigation matters. She remains Of Counsel to that firm, which provides the flexibility of having a large support staff on standby when necessary, while having the one-on-one client relationships that having her own firm allows.
